SPC Receives Smart Growth Award

The Social Profit Center is honored to be one of this year’s New Jersey Future Smart Growth Award winners, in partnership with NJ Community Capital, Hamilton Township, and US Bancorp Community Development Corporation. 

This award recognizes the innovative restoration of the Social Profit Center, creating workspaces for nonprofits, social impact businesses, and artists as well as working to revitalize the surrounding communities.  On December 15 at 4 pm, New Jersey Future will host a free virtual celebration where the Social Profit Center will be acknowledged as part of the best in smart growth and sustainable development projects from around the state.

Occupying 75,000 square feet, the Social Profit Center provides affordable, below-market rate workspace for diverse nonprofit, art, and social impact organizations in which tenants can connect and partner with similar-minded organizations from the local community.

Construction at Mill One

Construction is coming along at Mill One! Check out some recent photos featuring additions to our new kitchen and office area on the third floor. The Social Profit Center features twenty foot ceilings, exposed beams, restored windows and gorgeous hardwood all under one energy-efficient roof.
